Photography is painting with light. Therefore, I have to start with darkness. There is no depth in any image without darkness. Simply put, it needs black. Everything else the light provides.

For me, it is about finding beauty in what's already there. Stuff we walk past every day, barely noticing. I take those ordinary things and turn them into something quieter, more poetic. Don't need to chase exotic places for the wild. Magic's already here. Misty mornings in the garden. Hard lines on buildings we see constantly.

My images feel calm. Fog, minimalism, soft colours. Room to breathe and think. Rhythmic patterns everywhere, city and nature mixed. It is the same goal every time. Slow down. Feel what's around you. Look at the world like you're seeing it anew. Be playful about it.

The camera is for thinking, not just shooting. Walk slowly. Look carefully. Wait for light. Wait for silence. Process matters as much as photos.

Making calm visuals. Visual pauses. Space to breathe. Reflect. Find tranquillity in the rush.
